I won’t say which company I work for but we have our own PR officer who usually handles that side of the business. Lets say she was less than impressed when the boss wanted to bring in an agency to launch one of our latest products. She ended up speaking to Agent 99 who she had been involved with through the business at some point. We’re pretty close so I was happy she got to chose the agency which was some consolation.
It was kind of a blessing in disguise I think. They worked together on the launch an Agent 99 managed to come in and complement her skills perfectly without stepping on her toes. The launch was a great success and both parties played a role in that which the Agent 99 guys were keen to point out to our boss. They were really professional and did great work; I’m a big fan.
